Ken Alston, Jr. a native of Bronx, New York, possesses an exceptionally wide vocal range that has led him to performing opportunities with the Czech Philharmonic, the Charleston Symphony, the CSO Gospel Chorus, Darin Atwater’s Soulful Symphony, the Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Opera Company of Philadelphia.
Reverend Kenneth D. Alston, Jr. experienced his spiritual formation at Christ Temple Baptist Church in Harlem, New York. He is the Senior Pastor of the Elpida Community Church-Baptist in Brooklyn, New York, and serves as Chaplain to the Wall Street Alphas (ΚΞΛ).
He earned a B.A. in Vocal Performance from Morgan State University in Baltimore MD, and studied at The Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York.
He has graced the stages of many of the world’s greatest concert halls as a soloist and as a member of the performance ensemble of “Three Mo Tenors” amongst many other productions. He has sung in numerous operas across the country. His versatility is one of his major strengths. He has experienced hurt, joy, sadness, musical endeavors and religious accomplishments and through it all there is a message, whether sung or preached, God Will Get The Glory!
